Josie Davis

A Hollywood, California native, Josie Davis is an actress also a producer as well as writer. Davis started her career as a child actor on commercials for TV. At the age of a child, Davis was cast on the show Charles In Charge. It was the top-rated show on syndication. Josie received three nominations for the highly coveted Youth In FIlm Award, that she was awarded for her role as Sarah Powell. Davis was a prominent actress in numerous television movies as an adult. She was the recipient of Lifetime Movie Network Awards for her performance. Davis trained with Paul E Richards intensively for over twenty years, despite the fact that she would be enrolled in the prestigious USC Writing Program. Davis, at the age of 24, auditioned for Hollywood's biggest names, Shelley Winters and Mark Rydell along with Martin Landau. Davis became a member of the famous Actors Studio after just one audition. She was given access to the studio and later named a Lifetime member. Davis was the only one of two actors who were accepted into the Actors Studio at the time.
